Being that they are just samples, some things may change before they are actually released, but stay tuned in for more information.

ShoeGallery x Upset Gentlemen x adidas ZX700 Boat

The adidas ZX700 may have just been given the Yoda treatment in honor of Star Wars but let us not forget how dope of a model it is.

Shoe Gallery and Upset Gentlemen recently linking up with the brand to create their own version that looks clean and classic. The shoe feels vintage without being throwback by its use of supper oxblood red leather and grey soft suede. The blue checked lining definitely hints at warm weather and if you grab them on February 6th we’d suggest waiting until the weather breaks to rock em.

Daily Drop x JGoods Custom Nike Flight Light

Hot off the cyber-presses we just got word that the Eggplant Foamposite’s will be back this year dropping right after the Copper Foamposites.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Metro Attitude Hi “Beverly Hills”

One could say that Jeremy Scott and adidas have been getting pretty cozy. They already blew us away with the Spring/Summer 2010 JS Wings Sneaker, so it was only a matter of time before they stepped to the plate again.

Not to be outdone, they have collaborated on the adidas Metro Attitude Hi “Beverly Hills.” Using a simple white/yellow colorway, the most obvious design aesthetic of the shoe is the gigantic tongue. Meant to be shaped like the Beverly Hill’s license plates we see in all the movies, the tongue definitely shapes the rest of the white leather hi-top. Almost as an after-thought, adidas through in some yellow accents for the 3-Stripe on the midpanel and the shoe’s lining. After all is said and done, the shoe gives off classic hip-hop feel. So how do you guys feel about the big tongue?

Asics for Fall/Winter Preview

Asics made an appearance at the Bright Tradeshow with their Asics 2010 Spring/Summer Preview and just a few day later they hit us with the Fall/Winter line-up.

Looking between the two collections you can definitely tell Asics wanted a brighter and more lively color scheme for the colder months. The 3 Gel Lyte IIIs shown all use a strong base color with accents that pop and stand out from the rest of the shoe. The two other styles shown are on complete opposite sides of the spectrum; one colored in primarily white with blue and red accents, and the other dressed in black with white and hot pink accents. Based on these shots, Asics has a solid line-up for 2010.

Look for them this Spring.

Air Jordan I – AJKO

Jordan Brand has quite a few tricks up their sleeve for this year. On top of a slew of new models, new color ways and the huge Silver Anniversary it looks like they are also releasing a new version of the Air Jordan 1.

The Air Jordan 1 AKJO will have that vintage feel via manufactured grit. The canvas upper is done in red/white with black leather accenting and a red ribbed seam but the thing that surely will set the tone of conversation on these are the dirtied soles. These are set to release this summer and as soon as we get more information its yours.

Nike SB Blazer Mid “Gold Leaf”

These Nike SB Blazers Mid Gold Leaf showed there pretty faces back in August of last year and I have been waiting to get my hands on a pair. Sporting a a gold suede upper sitting on top of a white sole, these beauties are accented with that pretty UCLA blue on the swoosh, heel tab, heel column, and laces. Although the laces have been seen in white to match the midsole, the blue definitely stands out more.

Nike Air Max 97 Metallic Silver/Varsity Red

The Nike Air Max 97 is coming back full steam ahead this year and while this version isn’t quite the OG color way its still a damn good look.

The metallic silver/varsity red upper is accented by the black mesh underlaying the red ribbing around the upper and this pattern is echoed on the outsole. Metallic silver makes up the wrap around mudguard while the inside takes a stark white approach. These are destined to make a believer out of any naysayers.

Video: NYC Sneaker Con

I have always wanted to attend a Sneaker Con, but I never seem to be in NYC when it happens. This past weekend, over 20 vendors packed a SoHo gym for to buy, sell, and trade shoes. The event is actually getting big and was covered by a few media outlets. Check the video below for a recap of the event by the NY Post.

Air Jordan II – University Blue/Black – Summer 2010 Preview

Another day another new Jordan Brand sneak peak. Looks like they are not letting up at all this year and are hell bent on making sure there is something for the purists and more adventurous fans. The Air Jordan II is the next shoe to be given a makeover in a very interesting color way.

In a move that is sure to cause heated debates it looks like they decided to go with a University Blue/Black color way. The upper uses both grain and pebbled leather in a University Blue color with black accenting. A black midsole is met with a white outsole. These are set to release in August but while we wait for them lets discuss. What yall think?

Vans Vault 2010 Standard Issue Hi LX

Abandoning the usual canvas materials, Vans decided to use suede/mesh combination for this shoe. The toe box, heel, and lace beds are suede adn the rest of the shoe is made of mesh. All three pairs, the red, black, and blue, share a common black ankle collar, a white vulcanized sole, and matching cord laces. Although more of a mid-top shoe, Vans was still able to capture a “newer” feel while still maintaining their design aesthetic that made them famous. All three colorways will be available starting next month.

Video: adidas Originals – Star Wars Collection

We have seen plenty shots of the adidas Originals – Star Wars Collection, however none quit like this. adidas brought out Snoop Dogg, David Beckham, Calle 13, DJ Neil Armstrong, Daft Punk and Darth Vader to help showcase the collaboration in this video.

You can definitely expect more pictures as their release date approaches.

Air Jordan IX – Fall 2010 Preview

Fans of the Air Jordan IX are in for a treat this Fall. Looks like the shoe is set to drop in a few distinct colorways including the OG Black/White.

We can confirm that the an orange/black model is set to drop in July while the OG is set to drop in August. There is also a rendering of a black/green model that is set for September. Of the three scheduled releases which are you most anticipating? The orange/black is looking really good to us right now.

Nike Air Flightposite II Black/Black-Black

The black on black version of the Nike Air Flightposite II is one of those shoes that is iconic if for no other reason its robotic silhouette being emblazoned in our collective imagination. The shoe was definitely ahead of its time back then and it may be safe to say that we have just caught up to it. So this rerelease is right on time.

The upper is done in black foam and nubuck for a tonal effect that absolutely looks great. A carbon fiber insert supports the footbridge nicely while a midfoot zipper protects those laces and keeps your foot in place. These shoes are making their way back to stores in a few color ways but if you wanna get the jump on everybody get them today from Extra Butter

Nike Air Max 90 “2010 Winter Olympics” Availble Now

Just yesterday we brought you a look at two Nike Dunk high silhouettes whose colorways are inspired by team USA’s involvement in the 2010 Winter Olympics taking place in Vancouver, Canada. But Nike isn’t using just its timeless Dunk model to celebrate the games. Pictured here is a Nike Air Max 90, which, like the aforementioned Dunk highs, draws inspiration for its color palette from the 2010 Winter Olympics. You can check out more pictures of this sneaker after the jump and ponder not only which of the three Nike shoes mentioned here looks the best paying homage to the 2010 Winter Olympics, but also whether or not you’ll be trying to purchase any of them.

Nike Air Penny III White/Varsity Red-Black

The majority of you were excited to see the Nike Air Penny III return in the black/royal blue and the white/royal blue-black colorways in 2009. For 2010, Nike Basketball will bring back the Air Penny III again; this time, in a white/varsity red-black color scheme.

Obviously, this particular colorway owns a similar scheme to the aforementioned white/royal blue-black pair. The ‘liquid’ foamposite piecing is done up in red and coincides with various sections on the tongue. The rest of the base features white leather, while the inner lining and most of the tongue is black. Look for this Air Penny III to hit retailers on April 23rd, 2010. Meanwhile, click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Air Max 95 “Air Penny” Sample

2009 was a big year for the Nike Air Max 95. With OG reissues galore and some new colorways, lots of options were available. One pair that wasn’t made available, unfortunately, was this “Air Penny” design.

These use the classic Orlando Magic colors, with black working at the base on the lowest level and also the midfoot, tongue and toe. Royal blue, grey and white are also used as parts of the gradient look, with matching Air Max bags throughout the sole. 3M reflective works on the heel strip as well. The black midfoot is also done with mesh. Lil Penny appears on the insole as well, further designating these as an ode to Anfernee Hardaway and his little buddy.

Celebrity Kicks alert! Ludacris was recently spotted rocking the Air Jordan 3 Black / Cement which was released earlier this year in October matching with a nice Rocawear Flanel. The Air Jordan 3 was part of the Air Jordan 3 (III) / Air Jordan 20 (XX) Countdown Package. We wonder what he did with the other half of the package?! Hmm… A new chew toy for his dog perhaps? But shoutouts to Ludaris! Clean look right there…

This week, our Celebrity Kicks continues with Travis and Disashi from Gym Class Heroes posing for the camera. Travis is wearing the Air Penny 2 - Black / Royal Blue on hit feet matching with a royal blue jacket. While Disashi is sporting the Air Jordan 8 (VIII) Retro - Aquas.

Chicago’s own, The Cool Kids, make no bones about their sneaker obsessions. All you have to do is listen to their music and you can tell that they like basketball and Air Jordans. Each was seen wearing fresh new pairs of Jordan’s during their performance at the 2009 All Points West Music & Arts Festival in New Jersey.. For Mikey Rocks it was the Air Jordan I Retro High in Blue Sapphire while Chuck Inglish was seen wearing a pair of the new Air Jordan Fusion IV’s in White and Cement. I still think that no real Jordan fan would wear Fusions, but that’s just me (no shots).

R&B Sensation Omarion steezin in Japan with a pair of PRP Jeans, with some Authentic Vans, and a western lumberjack with headphones "Beats By Dre"!

Chris Brown is not only known for his rhythm and blues, but his sneakerhead persona as well. Today, we see Breezy decked out in brand name clothing during his New Year’s celebration in Miami Beach.
